Jessica Ruston is a screenwriter, novelist and journalist.
She has written two non-fiction books including the popular HEROINES: THE BOLD, THE BAD & THE BEAUTIFUL, and four novels, all published by Headline Review.
Her fiction includes her bestselling debut novel, LUXURY (2009, Debut of the Year at the Elle Magazine Literary Awards), TO TOUCH THE STARS (2011), THE DARKER SIDE OF LOVE (2012) and THE LIES YOU TOLD ME (2013).
In conjunction with The Writers’ Workshop, Jessica teaches a regular novel writing course and works with occasional writers as a mentor and editor.
Jessica’s journalism includes a weekly fiction serial for The Lady called COME FOR DINNER, features for Grazia, Red, Woman and Home, Scarlet, the Guardian online, Mslexia, The Pool, as well as book reviews for Mslexia, The Lady and The Spectator.
Currently, Jessica is working mainly on the development of a number of projects for television, with production companies including ITV Studios, Keshet International, Mulberry Films, Monumental Pictures, Origin Film and Roughcut Television.
